About
Frederico Vigil's massive fresco 'Mundos de Mestizaje' is one of those works you have to see in person to believe — it wraps around the inside of the Torreón and tells the history of the Southwest in vivid, layered detail. Visiting feels like stepping into a living history book, and the guided tour gives you the stories behind each panel.

The Torreón's fresco is actually the largest single fresco in North America — it took Vigil over 20 years to complete. Make sure to look for the hidden self-portrait of the artist in the lower right section.

Venue Tips
It's in the Barelas neighborhood, south of Downtown along 4th St SW. There's a free parking lot right on-site, so you can just pull up and walk in — no circling.
