After the game, head north on University Blvd to The Owl Cafe (no — that's the original in San Antonio NM) — instead try Mannies Family Restaurant on Lomas, or drive 10 min north to Sister Bar and Marble Brewery's Downtown taproom for late-night drinks. For a pre-game green-chile burger, El Pinto is a 12-min drive north on 4th Street — call ahead, the pre-game crowd builds fast.
What to Expect
Venue Tips
Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park sits at 1601 Avenida César Chávez SE, just south of I-25 between University Blvd and Broadway — about 1.5 miles south of Downtown and 2 miles east of the South Valley. Free parking lots ring the stadium; arrive 30–45 min before first pitch on giveaway nights since lots fill from the north. Stadium gates open 90 min before first pitch. This is also the home pitch for New Mexico United (USL) — same parking advice. Family seating is along the third-base line; the berm in left-center is a cheap, casual option for kids. Cash-free venue: cards and mobile pay only at concessions.
Local Tips
Grab some incredible tacos from a spot near the stadium before the game to fuel up!
